Abandoned Beauty

Engine

Engine

I have been having fun with a pair of rusted cars about 5 kilometres from my home.

Stupid me carries a tripod in his car and forgot to take it out. Old age and the heat is getting the better of me.

Still, that gives me the opportunity to go back with my tripod.

In this case, I used some simple Levels and Curves adjustments, as well as Adjust & Clarity. I was tempted to add some noise and grain, but decided against it.

Okay, that part is not the engine of the car… I just felt like giving it the “engine” caption

Monochrome Madness – The Acute Angle

Acute And Black

Acute And Black

You, who have seen this blog, may remember this photo from a few weeks ago. I have sent this across to Leanne Cole for the weekly Monochrome Madness Challenge

Some photos look good in colour (multi-hue) as well as in shades of black and white.

Black, and white – are colours!

Shot in North Delhi, in Daryaganj. Hot day. Me sitting in shade. Tongue lolling out, sweat dripping.

Well, it’s still hot, and I think we will have a drought this year. No rain.

Meanwhile, ladies and gentlemen, I present “Acute and Black”.

Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge – Lines, Squares…. “The Acute Angle”

The Acute Angle

The Acute Angle

I was walking in the Walled City of Delhi. It was a hot, hot, hot day. I flopped down in the shade at some point, like a little puppy dog, with sweat dripping off my tongue.

I then noticed this shaft of light, making a neat acute angle.

Euclid came rushing back to me, slapped me on the back, and said, “Good Boy!!!”

“Good girl, Cee“, he said!
